Creating our sustainable future today

Introducing our 2024 sustainability report

At BAI, sustainability is not just a priority – it’s a responsibility we embrace with purpose and pride. As experts in the design, build and operation of shared communications infrastructure, we are focused on driving greater efficiency in both construction and operations, reducing costs, and enhancing resilience in the face of increasing climate risks (such as fires, cyclones and flooding).

We’re also deeply committed to making a positive impact – championing social responsibility, striving for nature-positive outcomes, and upholding the highest standards of integrity in everything we do, for our customers, our people and the communities we serve.

While we’re proud of the progress outlined in this report, we see it as just the beginning. We remain dedicated to achieving the ambitious targets we’ve set, establishing new goals in the years ahead, and transparently sharing our journey with stakeholders through regular updates.

Together, we’re building a more sustainable and connected future.

Key goals

Good health and well-being

To be recognised by our people, partners and customers as a leader in health, safety and well-being within the broadcast and telecommunications industry.

Gender equality

To improve diversity, equity and inclusion across BAI and within the communities where we operate.

Industry, innovation and infrastructure

To mitigate the physical and transition-related risks of climate change so we can deliver benefits for our customers, the wider community and our planet.

Responsible consumption and production

To be accountable for our sustainability ambitions and to ensure meaningful progress is made across our environmental and social initiatives each year.
As we continue to grow and transform, we also understand that, as an industry leader, we have an obligation to all our stakeholders to ensure we aim to design, build and deploy our products and services in a sustainable way.
