• Apparatus licence

• Spectrum licence
  Grants access to a range of devices within a defined frequency band and geographic area. Issued for up to 20 years but not automatically renewed. BAI holds Area Wide Apparatus licences (AWLs) in the n77 band (3.4 to 4.0 GHz).
• Class licence
  Permits operation of common devices on shared frequencies without an individual application or fee. No interference protection is provided. Suitable only for lower-power, less critical applications. BAI can advise whether a class licence is appropriate for your use case or whether a higher-protection licence type is recommended.
