Bart Vogel, Chair of the BAI Board, said, “We are delighted to welcome our new directors. The addition of Christy Boyce, Michael Ebeid AM and Dr Adelle Howse comes at a crucial juncture as BAI focuses on its important role as partner and trusted advisor to the Australian broadcasting industry, as well as expanding its telecommunications offering. This offering, through solutions such as public and private wireless networks, sees BAI ready to transform Australia’s connectivity landscape; enable ubiquitous coverage in buildings, tunnels, stadiums and other congested hard to cover areas, and contribute to the creation of smart precincts. Our Board members all bring fresh perspectives and will play a pivotal role in helping to guide the strategic direction of BAI as it embarks on its next phase of growth”.

BAI Communications had its genesis in Australia and has grown into a highly successful global business. The Northern Hemisphere now operates as a separate organisation, Boldyn Networks. In Australia, the business remains as BAI Communications, headquartered in Sydney. Both businesses remain close collaborators with the full support of its common majority shareholder, CPP Investments, and minority shareholder, AIMCo (Alberta Investment Management Corporation).
